What is the SCC Wrestling Association?

 

Our Goals:

• Provide valuable experience to our wrestlers through tournaments and elementary programs

• Support the St. Croix Wrestling program and the wrestlers

• Support the students of St. Croix Central

• Have fun with other people who enjoy the sport of wrestling

What do I need to join?

• A little dedication

• A craving for fun

• A love of wrestling

• A few hours of your time

What’s my part?

• Volunteer to work a few shifts at tournaments and fundraisers (you will always be allowed to watch your child wrestle!)

 

What events do we sponsor?

  *  Annual scholarships to  high school “wrestling” seniors

  *  Develop and run Elementary programs

  *  Sponsor tournaments at the Junior Varsity, Junior High and Elementary level

  *  A special “youth night” for Elementary wrestlers

  *  Develop and sponsor a SCC Wrestling Hall of Fame

  *  Work at Roberts Good Neighbor Days food stand (every 3 years)

  *  Hold a summer golf tournament event

  *  Participate in the WIAA Tournaments when hosted by SCC

 

What are the benefits?

  *  Support SCC wrestling/wrestlers with others who love wrestling

  *  Opportunity to attend a group trip to attend the WIAA State Tournament (if you choose)

  *  FUN, FUN, FUN!
